Friends, fun and fitness – for life!
The Smiths Falls and District Soccer Club (SFDSC) is dedicated to providing a high quality and affordable soccer development program for local players. SFDSC is a volunteer-run, community oriented club, with more than 550 members participating in outdoor recreational and competitive soccer. SFDSC is a member in good standing of the Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association.
SFDSC strives to offer team play for youth and adults of all ages (3+) and abilities. Our Club conducts a house league in Smiths Falls for ages 5-13. Players take to the field twice a week for fun, skill development, and friendly competition. We also offer a six-week soccer activity program (once a week) for young players ages 3-4.
Players aged 9+ can participate in our recreational, developmental and competitive programs offered through several local district leagues:
- East Region Soccer League (ERSL) – for developmental and competitive youth players ages 9 – 18. This league operates across Eastern Ontario (e.g. Perth, Kanata, Ottawa, Rockland, Cornwall, Russell, Kemptville, etc.);
- Goulbourn-Lanark Soccer League (GLSL) – for recreational youth players 11 to 18. This league operates across Lanark County and neighbouring areas (e.g. Perth, Carleton Place, Almonte, and West Carleton); and
- Ottawa Carleton Soccer League (OCSL) – for adult competitive and recreational players (ages 18+ recommended). This league operates across Eastern Ontario and Western Quebec.
Fields for the SFDSC House League, and home fields for SFDSC teams in other leagues, are provided in collaboration with the Town of Smiths Falls, Montague Township, the Upper Canada District School Board and SFDSC. Our main fields are located at Lower Reach Park in Smiths Falls, where in the summer you’ll find hundreds of players enjoying the beautiful game every night of the week!
